In this digital era in which we live, files are easily deleted, computers crash, CD’s are scratched, and personal hard drives die. We usually learn the hard way, I did. Four months ago, I had a small personal external hard drive crash. There were thousands of images & video of my family on this drive! From Easter egg hunts, to birthday parties and those little “in-between” moments that I absolutely LOVE. Thankfully, I had my images protected and I was able to send the drive in for professional recovery. But in the end, all drives crash and CD’s are easily damaged or lost. After spending $500 to recover them, they are also completely unorganized. All of the images are in different folders!
This is going to take me about 30 hours to reorganize. Ridiculous.
Because of this, we have decided to offer something new to ensure that this will never happen to your Tosti studios images. Now, there is something better, we are now able to offer you a complete back up of your photographs and or video. Stored in multiple locations, your images will be protected for as long as you’d like.

How long are the files kept on file after my wedding, event, or portrait session?
All of your high-resolution files are kept for 1 Year from the time of your wedding, event, or portrait session. You will be notified 30 days before at which point you may choose to continue or you may purchase the digital files. If your event has not yet reached 1 year, purchase TOSTI VAULT and it will begin at the 1 year anniversary.
What If TOSTI STUDIOS has photographed or video’d multiple things over the years, do I have to pay for each shoot?
NO! That’s the beauty of it! The TOSTI VAULT covers ALL of your digital files over multiple shoots. Once you have chosen the length of time you would like your files to be protected, we will back up every file. When you have us cover your next event or shoot a portrait session, we’ll add that to the VAULT with out question. Once your time agreement is up, we’ll notify you and you can continue or decline further back up.
Will I be notified to reinstate TOSTI VAULT?
Absolutely, we will notify you 30 days prior to the expiration of your back up. If you would like, you may sign up for another year or more or you can decline in which case the files will be ultimately your responsibility.
What if I already purchased my digital files with the collection I chose?
You will still receive those files or you may have already, however, you may want to use the TOSTI VAULT just in case of a computer failure, fire, flood or lost cd, etc...
Will I be able to get access to those files if I just order TOSTI VAULT?
These files are treated as digital negatives and until you purchase the DVD of your files, you will not have direct access to them. They will be available for you purchase at anytime during or at the end of your VAULT time frame.
What if I do not back-up my images or purchase digital files?
High-resolution files are kept for one year from the date of your wedding, event, or portrait session. Should you decide not to back up or purchase digital files, Tosti Studios will deem your files as neglected and cannot be held liable for the lifetime care of your images. Up until this point we have not charged any clients the annual $250 archive/back up fee that is stated in our contracts. We are moving to this system to ensure that all clients files are proactively cared for and we hope you will understand our effort to run an even more efficient business.
