Jessica and Chris are RAD.  Here’s a little peek from their wedding at the University Club . There is some serious love for each other going on between them.  Chris is a Sgt. in the U.S. Army whom I have much respect for and Jessica has a heart of gold.  They have a little one in the oven too! This little one is going to have a lot of fun.  I have to “salute” the bridesmaids; they went off!  You know it’s gonna be a good party when the bridesmaids have boots on and rock out in a photo like the one below.  I loved shooting on UCI‘s campus; the yellow at Engineering Hall tied into their colors so well.  Cheers to you two… I mean THREE!

Here it is! I’ve been thrilled to see there day come together in this large slide show. Stacey looked stunning, loved her dress from The White Dress (my new neighbors), fabulous details as always from one of my favorite venues…Seven Degrees.  The first viewing, was and is always an amazing time  and the bridal party was so much fun. I hope you enjoy viewing it as much as I enjoyed creating these images. Cheers to you Stacey and Dan!

YES! It’s here…The new demo reel to give you a glimpse of our photography and HD video. We hope you enjoy this! May it give you a vision of what your day will be like with David and Ariel documenting your day with a sophisticated eye, connection, and the ability to bring out the best in you!
Ohh.. p.s. I hope the music let’s you know that we like weddings with people who like get their dance on!

Festival of Brides recap

March 14, 2011
Festival of Brides was a goooood time. We had an amazing booth with Fluer de Lis, Ice Bulb, and Invisible Touch. I’ve got all kinds of love for them! I met a bazillion brides and grooms (points for the dudes who showed up!). My wonderful wife Alli was there to represent and besides our stellar work (insert smile face) I think the passing out of lindt chocolate really took us over the top.
We  did an engagement shoot give-a-way which will be announced in the next few weeks. There was also an exclusive to the show, offer but shhhh can’t talk about that here.
Here’s a few images (I only took a few cause I was yappin the whole time and came hoarse). of love for them! I met a bazillion brides and grooms (points for the dudes who showed up!).
Check back soon for yours truly interviewing some of the coolest vendors at the show, while hoarse.

On any given wedding day, I prepare, drink espresso, get the nervous jitters and listen to good music for inspiration. I absolutely love working with couples. When a couple hires me, I’m honored. I get to know them, then document one of  the best day’s of their human existence.   The wedding day for me is about anticipation of that next monumental moment. It’s about precision, but most of all…It’s a bridge of very hard work and a lot of laughter. This is me, David Tosti, working with a fabulous couple, and a glimpse of what it would be like for me to photograph your wedding day. Cheers!

Sneak Peak of Chris & Silvia

January 11, 2011

I have a sneak peak of Chris and Silvia’s wedding which took place in the beautiful Santa Ana venue, the Hacienda. It was a quaint and charming wedding!
More pictures coming soon!

I received a call last year from Aron, a great friend of mine from High school, telling me he was engaged and that he wanted me to photograph his wedding Villa Pignano Tuscany, Italy. I have been saying for several years, “This year I’m going to shoot a wedding in Italy.” Well, thanks to these two sweethearts, that dream of mine came true. I couldn’t have picked a more perfect couple to shoot there. Molly is not only a sweetheart, but also an oustanding graphic designer who works with the world famous designer Milton Glaser (you’ve seen his “I Heart NY” shirt before) and Aron is a screenplay writer who has recently opened a fabulous bar, The Brooklyneer in Manhattan. They met in their NYC building and fell in love. I think this was the most intimate, relaxed, thrilling wedding, I’ve ever photographed.

Our slide shows are typically 100 of my favorite images, this one was almost impossible to edit down, there were so many great moments! This one has about 200 images telling their story, enjoy!

p.s. When it rains on the Bride, we italians say, “Sposa bagnata, Sposa fortunata” (Rain on the day you get married brings good luck). Look out for my favorite umbrella B&W shot as they come out of the 2000 year old church!

Simple, true, genuine, calm, sweet, passionate, blissful. These are just a few words that immediately come to mind when reflecting back on Kali and John Paul’s wedding day. They were married at the San Clemente historic cottage on 8.9.10, that is cool. The families were so sweet and connected, you can see it in the images. Kali and John Paul are young love birds who just simply, truly love to be together. It was all over them, all day. You two are destined for great things, enjoy this slide show and thank you again I had a blast!

Wendy and Daven did it right! These two know how to have fun and their reception was a blast. Even the family photos were SUPER fun. We absolutely loved working with you two and hope you enjoy this even more when you’re 74 and sitting in your rocking chairs on your sweet porch.

A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of photographing Caroline and Gerard’s wedding here in Laguna Beach. They stayed at the wonderful Hotel 741, one of Laguna’s most unique, modern, boutique hotels.  A few close friends gathered for champagne and then headed down to the beach for the relazed ceremony.  Gerard and Caroline live in Switzerland, and decided  they wanted a california wedding. They are one of those couples that you just feel at home and connected with, immediately. I had a wonderful time and I love the images that we created, enjoy the slide show!
