Yes! It only took me a week to get to Jane & Griffin part II posted! (gosh I’m slow).  This next series are some of my favorite environmental portraits of J & G and the ceremony.  The Palm Springs light was fantastic!  Jane and her flower girls went for a walk to The Parker lemonade stand for a little pre-ceremony sugar high.  Jane’s nephew George is the man! As the featured musical guest, he picked up his violin, and then, the brief moment where you wonder what on earth he’s going to play…then….WHAM….the theme to Star Wars (mind blowing).  Jane’s tears roll down her cheeks and I wanted to yell “YA GEORGE!” but, I was able to restrain myself. Jane’s Father, a sweet heart of a man, officiated the ceremony . What a proud daughter Jane is, you can see it in her eyes as she walked with him down the aisle.   Enjoy these and up next is the reception, and my morning after shoot with them.  Turn in next year, I mean this week to see the final images.   p.s. I love the blurry black and white image of them kissing, I took right after the ceremony…can you feel it?

Jane + Griffin + 4 days at The Parker Hotel and life is good.  Especially the time I had at the P.S.Y.C. (I love that steam room!)  I wanted to blog a few different  posts about their wedding because there are so many details and fun moments.  So we’ll start here with the getting ready, first look, and a few portraits from our creative shoot.  Lots more to come in the following posts, but this will get us started.   Jane wore two amazing dresses from The White Dress, Manolo Blahniks, while Griffin rocked a very classy double breasted tux, prada shoes, and he likes to play guitar and sing, which was quite the ending to the wedding “after party” in the lounge.   Here’s a few and then check back Monday for some new detail images, the ceremony and reception…

This was my first wedding of 2012 and it was so frickin awesome to work with these two. Erin was relaxed and had so much with her girls and Justin is the king of mellow.  I believe we will see them in about 50 years, still loving and enjoying each others’ time here.   We also created a fine video highlight for them.  Thanks again to Leesa, Soka and Mariners for their fine work to create a beautiful day for these two!

I’ve known Becky since I was born, or maybe just before that.  It’s a bit of a blur, but I’m pretty sure we did several junior high and high school camps together.  We hadn’t talked and then out of no where, “hi It’s Becky and I’m getting married.”  The  wedding day was like stepping into an awesome time warp where every time I turn around with my camera I’m realizing it’s someone I knew in another lifetime.

Becky found this really good guy named Brady.  He’s…well, a really nice guy.  It’s always amazing to reconnect with someone, get to photograph their wedding AND see them married someone super cool. Congrats you two!

p.s. Their wedding was at Vanguard University and Reception at El Adobe, so we got some good shooting time by the train station and Los Rios St.

Jessica and Dan choose one of the most beautiful places on earth for their wedding and it was…epic.  Jessica and the girls got ready at Villa Cimbrone (home to many celebrity weddings), the ceremony was held at Villa Eva, and the reception over the water Torre Normanna The weather was absolutely perfect and the food was incredible.  I can go on for days about this experience but you’ll probably get a better idea by watching their video.   Thank you again to you both, I am so grateful that we were able to document your wedding!

This is the slide show of my work with Stephanie and Niels at the most amazing Villa Catignano in Tuscany.
Stephanie is an amazing interior designer and we met several years back at my contemporary art gallery.
She and Niels decided they were to be married in Tuscany and I was thrilled to be back in Tuscany shooting their
wedding.  I love to travel and to travel with fabulous people!  Ariel and I had an incredible time on this trip shooting photography
and video both, their wedding and Jessica and Dan’s wedding in Ravello, Amalfi Coast (Coming soon).
Enjoy the slide show!

YES! I’m so proud to have been apart of Jessica and Daniels’ wedding. These two are amazing people. amazing. If you ever want to travel with two warm, caring people… you’ve found them.  I could go on and on about their wedding…an impeccable wedding day.  If you haven’t been to the Amalfi Coast, it’s INSANE.  Ravello is one of the most popular wedding destinations in the world and hopefully the images will say more than 1000 words. The wedding ceremony was held at Villa Eva a lovely serenaded walk from Villa Cimbrone, where they stayed.  The grounds, the history, and a view of the ocean from heaven was mind blowing. But hey…can you spare a few minutes and watch this slideshow? There was an incredible surprise that evening at Torre Normanna for their guests wait till the end!  Doesn’t get much more romantic than this, in my Italian-blooded-book, anyway.    p.s. Grazie to Claudia who coordinated the wedding. She did fabulous job and was more than kind!   p.s.s. lookout for the upcoming video of their wedding!
