Jessica and Dan choose one of the most beautiful places on earth for their wedding and it was…epic.  Jessica and the girls got ready at Villa Cimbrone (home to many celebrity weddings), the ceremony was held at Villa Eva, and the reception over the water Torre Normanna The weather was absolutely perfect and the food was incredible.  I can go on for days about this experience but you’ll probably get a better idea by watching their video.   Thank you again to you both, I am so grateful that we were able to document your wedding!

This is the slide show of my work with Stephanie and Niels at the most amazing Villa Catignano in Tuscany.
Stephanie is an amazing interior designer and we met several years back at my contemporary art gallery.
She and Niels decided they were to be married in Tuscany and I was thrilled to be back in Tuscany shooting their
wedding.  I love to travel and to travel with fabulous people!  Ariel and I had an incredible time on this trip shooting photography
and video both, their wedding and Jessica and Dan’s wedding in Ravello, Amalfi Coast (Coming soon).
Enjoy the slide show!

I think the Velvet Underground sang it best…”Sweet Jane!!!”  She truly is a sweet-heart and I’m SO looking forward to her and Griffin’s wedding day at the Parker Hotel.   So…Jane tells me about this incredible Elizabeth Fillmore Ballet Noir dress that she bought and that it’s going to be altered to be the cocktail dress at the reception.  She fell in love with another dress and decided to make this one the “party” dress.  By “altered” she meant, “chop” the dress and I was shocked because the dress is insane!  It’s going to look amazing but my response…”Wait! Before you send it to the tailor, let’s shoot you in it!”  Jane thought this was a good idea!  I was so inspired shooting her. This is a great example of a beautiful woman who is relaxed, confident, and isn’t worried about whether she looks good, her fun self knew she would look amazing.  It’s much easier said than done, but works so well when it happens.  I have to say thank you to the most amazing Amanda who rocked the make-up and Sarah the most excellent hair stylist. We’ve worked on some fashion shoots together and well, I think we’re a pretty great team!  Many thanks to Ford for making this amazing 65′ convertible Mustang and to the owner, Grant, for sharing it with us.  Thanks to The White Dress for their support and carrying such fabulous gowns…and last but not least…to God for creating “Sweet- Jane!!!”  to whom without her, this shoot would not have been possible.  P.S. Don’t worry Jane said it’s ok to post this before the wedding day, Griffin’s been told to keep his eyes away from my blog!

Ahhh yes!  Let’s roll the video out from The Knot party!  Here’s where I get to play the wanna-be Ryan Seacrest interviewer and Natalee from A Good Affair is the star of the night.  Again, check out the sweet lounge…it’s awesome.  I did really enjoy the flatbread too, that was delish.  I have to say…Rancho Las Lomas is one of my favorite OC wedding venues.  The beautiful space takes you away from the ruckus and really allows you to focus in on a great celebration.   Again hi-fives to the stellar vendors who gave their time and skills to make this party happen:

A few weeks ago I covered The Knot‘s “Cocktails & Connections” party at Rancho Las Lomas. My friend Natalee from A Good Affair Wedding & Events designed the entire event and she did an amazing job, like super wow awesome.  I also had a great time shooting with  my long time friend Jaimee from Capturing Moments.  Natalee did a stellar job incorporating some warm tones as well as some new metallics… and the sweet lounge was awesome! (I’m a sucker for sugar).

I want to give a huge shout out to all the vendors who gave of their time to make this event amazing:

I can’t wait to post the video that we produced for the Knot! (coming Soon)

Here’s the slideshow for Jessica and Chris’ wedding, which was just a few weeks ago at the University Club at UC Irvine. Check out how beautiful Jessica looks, and be sure to keep an eye out for the bridesmaids’ boots. They definitely added personality to the wedding. I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I had fun putting it together.

Fleur de Lis Events recently asked us to create a new video piece to show off their style. Owner Adina Verdult brings fabulous modern aesthetic and her brides love working with her. Check out this killer wedding at their exclusive location, Vintage Farms in San Juan Capistrano.

Jessica and Chris are RAD.  Here’s a little peek from their wedding at the University Club . There is some serious love for each other going on between them.  Chris is a Sgt. in the U.S. Army whom I have much respect for and Jessica has a heart of gold.  They have a little one in the oven too! This little one is going to have a lot of fun.  I have to “salute” the bridesmaids; they went off!  You know it’s gonna be a good party when the bridesmaids have boots on and rock out in a photo like the one below.  I loved shooting on UCI‘s campus; the yellow at Engineering Hall tied into their colors so well.  Cheers to you two… I mean THREE!

Our new studio neighbor, The White Dress, had a huge bridal gown sale a few weeks ago, and we thought we’d show up on the scene and help tell the world about it. Here’s a quick interview with my friend Marlise, the owner, and a bunch of women who scored finding an amazing deal on their wedding dress.
Here’s just a few phenomenal designers they carry:
Jorge Manuel
Carolina Herrera
Elizabeth Fillmore
P.S. Big thanks to Fleur de Lis for their delicious treats for everyone!

Here is one more video from Festival of Brides where I am speaking with Louis from Luna Party Rentals, an event production company that provides everything you would need for a reception, from lighting and centerpieces, to video and just about everything else.
