Jenny and James are sweet, authentic, people who truly enjoy just being together & I think it shows in their expressions in this engagement shoot. They’re getting married at The Peninsula Beverly Hills in just a few weeks & being from LA, they wanted to do something that represented who they are and a place they love to visit. The location credit goes the couple, good call, I love the Griffith Observatory! I would love to do another 20 shoots there. The light and view of the city are ridiculous! I kept thinking about the classic, Rebel Without a Cause while we were there. It’s definitely one of those spots that takes me back to being a kid and thinking Mr. James Dean was the coolest. Check out a few images from their shoot!

I found some other interviews from Festival of Brides. Here I’m talking to Monica of Haute Moments about her awesome all-in-one company. If you need an event, she can do the whole thing for you! Her website hasn’t launched yet, so be sure to check her out on Facebook!

A few months ago I put up a large slide show of Molly and Aron Watman’s Tuscany Wedding at Villa Pignano.  I fell in love with Italy and Villa Pignano – it’s a beautiful 15th century building that hosted as a place for the ceremony, reception and hotel accommodations for the 30~ guests.  I’ve always wanted to shoot a wedding in Italy, and it was great to do it for good friends. What can I say, I just love what ‘I do’!

I love working with Victor and all the DJs at I had a great talk at Invisible Touch! Here’s another quick interview from the Festival of Brides.

Superstars in the making!

We want to say “THANK YOU!” to all those who have supported my trip to Honduras to document these coffee farmers and their families.  I had an amazing time and was overwhelmed with the transformation that is taking place with these families. Growers First is doing some incredible work and I’m honored to be apart of what they are doing.

Next Wednesday night the crew at Growers First and myself will be at Salt Fine Art Gallery, here in Laguna Beach.  I will be showing an outdoor slide show, while you enjoy some incredible Tacos and drinks compliments of Growers First.  There will be prints for sale &  I will be giving a portion of the proceeds from print sales back to GF.  Hope to see you there!

I shot my self….

August 5, 2010

Hey look it’s me in a photobooth at a recent event I shot for musicforacure.org. My friend Murphy (bass player for Sugar Ray) and his wife Julie run this wonderful non-profit providing music for kids with diseases. I love what they do and I hope what they do continues to bless these bed-ridden kids at Hoag & Choc.

Please check out my Kickstarter post to raise some funds for my trip to Honduras on Friday. I am giving away fine art prints based what you give! Oh and if you give $500 I will give you a 16×20 print and a photoshoot of your choice. Only requirement is that it has to be inspiring!

Here’s a slideshow of the Circle Family Photoshoot! Enjoy!
