Jessica and Dan choose one of the most beautiful places on earth for their wedding and it was…epic.  Jessica and the girls got ready at Villa Cimbrone (home to many celebrity weddings), the ceremony was held at Villa Eva, and the reception over the water Torre Normanna The weather was absolutely perfect and the food was incredible.  I can go on for days about this experience but you’ll probably get a better idea by watching their video.   Thank you again to you both, I am so grateful that we were able to document your wedding!

This is the slide show of my work with Stephanie and Niels at the most amazing Villa Catignano in Tuscany.
Stephanie is an amazing interior designer and we met several years back at my contemporary art gallery.
She and Niels decided they were to be married in Tuscany and I was thrilled to be back in Tuscany shooting their
wedding.  I love to travel and to travel with fabulous people!  Ariel and I had an incredible time on this trip shooting photography
and video both, their wedding and Jessica and Dan’s wedding in Ravello, Amalfi Coast (Coming soon).
Enjoy the slide show!

Ahhh Stephanie and Niels.  Amazing people who decided to go where their hearts were…Tuscany, Italy.  SO I get a call that goes like this, “Hi David, it’s Stephanie, I know when we booked we were going to get married here in Newport, but now we’re thinking Villa Catignano in Tuscany, are you open to that?” “OPEN TO IT? GEEE LET ME THINK…YES of course I’m open it to it!”   We had an amazing 3 days with them in Tuscany and let me say, yes the food was amazing, yes, the wine was amazing but the best part, hands down was these two and their friends and family.  I love the honor of spending time with a couple, their families, their bridal party and leaving a place with a completely new group of friends.  Here is their highlights video, filmed by the fantastic Ariel, for Tosti Studios.

p.s. much love and thanks to Vivi and Edo for arranging the vespa for us!  I miss you both!

p.s.s. they said their vows to each other in italian and Danish…this is the real deal.

YES! I’m so proud to have been apart of Jessica and Daniels’ wedding. These two are amazing people. amazing. If you ever want to travel with two warm, caring people… you’ve found them.  I could go on and on about their wedding…an impeccable wedding day.  If you haven’t been to the Amalfi Coast, it’s INSANE.  Ravello is one of the most popular wedding destinations in the world and hopefully the images will say more than 1000 words. The wedding ceremony was held at Villa Eva a lovely serenaded walk from Villa Cimbrone, where they stayed.  The grounds, the history, and a view of the ocean from heaven was mind blowing. But hey…can you spare a few minutes and watch this slideshow? There was an incredible surprise that evening at Torre Normanna for their guests wait till the end!  Doesn’t get much more romantic than this, in my Italian-blooded-book, anyway.    p.s. Grazie to Claudia who coordinated the wedding. She did fabulous job and was more than kind!   p.s.s. lookout for the upcoming video of their wedding!

I received a call last year from Aron, a great friend of mine from High school, telling me he was engaged and that he wanted me to photograph his wedding Villa Pignano Tuscany, Italy. I have been saying for several years, “This year I’m going to shoot a wedding in Italy.” Well, thanks to these two sweethearts, that dream of mine came true. I couldn’t have picked a more perfect couple to shoot there. Molly is not only a sweetheart, but also an oustanding graphic designer who works with the world famous designer Milton Glaser (you’ve seen his “I Heart NY” shirt before) and Aron is a screenplay writer who has recently opened a fabulous bar, The Brooklyneer in Manhattan. They met in their NYC building and fell in love. I think this was the most intimate, relaxed, thrilling wedding, I’ve ever photographed.

Our slide shows are typically 100 of my favorite images, this one was almost impossible to edit down, there were so many great moments! This one has about 200 images telling their story, enjoy!

p.s. When it rains on the Bride, we italians say, “Sposa bagnata, Sposa fortunata” (Rain on the day you get married brings good luck). Look out for my favorite umbrella B&W shot as they come out of the 2000 year old church!
