We want to say “THANK YOU!” to all those who have supported my trip to Honduras to document these coffee farmers and their families.  I had an amazing time and was overwhelmed with the transformation that is taking place with these families. Growers First is doing some incredible work and I’m honored to be apart of what they are doing.

Next Wednesday night the crew at Growers First and myself will be at Salt Fine Art Gallery, here in Laguna Beach.  I will be showing an outdoor slide show, while you enjoy some incredible Tacos and drinks compliments of Growers First.  There will be prints for sale &  I will be giving a portion of the proceeds from print sales back to GF.  Hope to see you there!

Wendy and Daven are one of the coolest couples I’ve worked with this year. We had so much fun on their wedding day. Check out their slide show and look out for the “goofy heart” glasses. My favorite family photos ever! Oh and Elvis joined us too! Cheers you two!

Hey look it’s me in a photobooth at a recent event I shot for musicforacure.org. My friend Murphy (bass player for Sugar Ray) and his wife Julie run this wonderful non-profit providing music for kids with diseases. I love what they do and I hope what they do continues to bless these bed-ridden kids at Hoag & Choc.

Where do I start with Wendy & Daven….hmmmm.  They for sure make the cut for the “top ten coolest couples” list. We had so much fun together, I laughed all day!  They were referred to me by two different people and I was honored to photograph their day.  Daven works for a company you may have heard of called Volcom (love it) as the creative director and Wendy does hair and make up.  Their creative-selves planned quite the rock n’ roll day.  Wendy looks like model of the year and Daven isn’t too shabby either.  The dudes started with cut’s and shaves at Hawleywood’s, the ladies got ready at Mom’s wonderful home overlooking the ocean and there was a surprise visit from the “King” himself.  Yes, Mr. Elvis Presley sang a few to the wonderful couple!  Congratulations you two!

p.s. I love shooting at the Ocean Institute, so many diverse things to do in one location! The room decor looked insane thanks to Square Root.  Slide show coming soon…SO many great images.

Nicole and Jon were married on June 26th here in Laguna Beach. We shot video for their day and I’ve watched it several times now, makes me feel good inside. This gives me hope. Honestly, watching this seriously reminds me that life, though stressful at times, gives us radical days such as this one.  Beautiful work, as always, by Fleur de Lis Events! Congrats you two! Michelle and David were married last August and I just found out that Michelle is pregnant!  Thought we would post their slide show in honor of “little baby Kimura” coming soon!  Thanks again I loved being apart of your day!

Check out the slide show for Michal & Jonathan! These two are so fun, they love to be goofy together and I think that shows in some of images. We had a great time shooting at the LA Live area until we were quickly addressed by the heightened security guard. The shoot went well considering we were stopped for quite some time. You can always work around life’s challenges right? Looking forward to your wedding day you two!

Meet Christina! She is a senior at Laguna Beach High school and on her way to San Francisco State to play soccer next year! Christina has a confidence about her that is really impressive, no attitude, just a sweet heart. We shot at Victoria beach and in the canyon and I think there’s a nice mix of beach and urban. Christina chose the song for the slide show, check it out!
