Last week I was in Reno visiting some family for the Thanksgiving holiday and I photographed Drew and Ashley, two of my favorite people in the world.  Reno is an odd little city, so we thought we’d shoot at night as well, which I LOVE.  We shot for a little while until Ashley was about frozen in that dress, which is rockin’ by the way! Drew, don’t worry you look good too.  There were some great moments like “two birds, two humans, two meters” … and even an older man was drop-jawed.  We had a great time and then we went out for a night sheer madness.

TOSTI 101 photography class

December 1, 2008

YES! That’s right, yours truly will be teaching a beginner photography class in January.  I have had so many people ask me when I am going to teach them how to use their cameras and how to get past the fear of all those camera functions.  SO, I have decided to put together a 4 week class that will give you the opportunity to surpass direct you camera instead of it directing you,  connect with other local photographers,  glean some REAL hands on learning, and have some FUN!  January is the perfect time to start the new year with some “phototherapy!”  Feeling stressed?  Look at your camera and sigh cause you can’t figure out how to get past turning it on? Frustrated that you have an awesome camera and can’t figure out much past that?  It’s OK,  take a deep breath, and come enjoy some phototherapy at TOSTI 101.  Only 7 students per class for inspiration and intimacy sake.  You will learn A LOT in 4 weeks.  Here’s the little teaser for the class….email me (david@tostistudios.com) and let’s get it started!
