Nicole and Jon were married on June 26th here in Laguna Beach. We shot video for their day and I’ve watched it several times now, makes me feel good inside. This gives me hope. Honestly, watching this seriously reminds me that life, though stressful at times, gives us radical days such as this one.  Beautiful work, as always, by Fleur de Lis Events! Congrats you two! Kedric and I met a few years back at a Riviera magazine event. As the editor of the magazine, he’s the guy who walks into the party and everyone loves! Their wedding was no different except the fact that Elaina looked so beautiful and is such a sweetheart, she definitely drew some attention! It was amazing to see their genuine love for each other. It was a great celebration and soon they’ll be celebrating the birth of a new baby! Their friends came together to give them a beautiful day. A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of photographing Caroline and Gerard’s wedding here in Laguna Beach. They stayed at the wonderful Hotel 741, one of Laguna’s most unique, modern, boutique hotels.  A few close friends gathered for champagne and then headed down to the beach for the relazed ceremony.  Gerard and Caroline live in Switzerland, and decided  they wanted a california wedding. They are one of those couples that you just feel at home and connected with, immediately. I had a wonderful time and I love the images that we created, enjoy the slide show!

Michelle and David were married last August and I just found out that Michelle is pregnant!  Thought we would post their slide show in honor of “little baby Kimura” coming soon!  Thanks again I loved being apart of your day!

We had a great time shooting at the LA Live area until we were quickly addressed by the heightened security guard. The shoot went well considering we were stopped for quite some time. You can always work around life’s challenges right? Looking forward to your wedding day you two!

After having been a fan of my former band PAX217, Jonathan tracked me down on wikipedia to be their photographer. I’m honored to be apart of he and Michal’s life! We met at the LA Live area in downtown LA to shoot. We were “shut down” by the security in the 1st 5 minutes of the shoot! Security is heightened since the NY Times Square bomb scare.  Never the less, we had a great time, enjoyed dinner at Yard House in the middle of the shoot as we wanted to shoot at night a bit. I love shooting at night! Here are a few images, more to come in the future! Great to spend so much time with you two, dinner was great and so was the dark ale that Jonathan suggested!

Meet Christina! She is a senior at Laguna Beach High school and on her way to San Francisco State to play soccer next year! Christina has a confidence about her that is really impressive, no attitude, just a sweet heart. We shot at Victoria beach and in the canyon and I think there’s a nice mix of beach and urban. Christina chose the song for the slide show, check it out!

As I pulled up to my house after having just shot the Circle family, I began to feel some stomach pain. (Don’t worry Circle’s it’s not your fault!) I ended up at the hospital that night after the shoot and had my appendix removed!  Luckily, I was able to squeeze this shoot in just before!  The Circles’ are a family that I’ve worked with for several years and I genuinely love them.  Kyle, (son) used to manage one of my friend’s bands  and we’ve known each other since my PAX217 (former band) days.  The entire shoot of the Circle Family was so much fun. They weren’t stressed, they’re sweet to each other, patient, and Mom (Jan)  comes prepared with waters and snacks for the whole fam!  Take a look at a few pictures I took of them: They are a family that gives me hope.  I hope to provide for my kids in the ways that Doug and Jan have, it’s brilliant.

Jan & Doug, the heads of the household.  I am so inspired by how their passion continues! They are so in love with each other and seriously, I felt like I was doing an engagement photoshoot of them! May you two have many, many more years of love and happiness to come.
